Post subject:  ANYONE SAW WHAT HAPPENED 26/09 0830 AT THE PIER?
There was a fight between two foreigners and two locals at the yung shue wan pier yesterday morning at around 8:30am when most of us are rushing to work. Anyone knows what caused the fight? When my friends and I reached the pier, we only saw one of the foreigners holding down on local on the floor and bashing the local's face. We tried to tell the foreigner to stop but we only got sweared at. And of course, just like any other times, when such things happen, there are no police around. Did anyone saw anything else? Why didn't someone break them up? :roll:

Oh that must have been a bit freaky to watch. Next time, just get on the phone & call "999" - no use calling the Police directly on Lamma - they don't do anything. I hope the guy wasn't too badly hurt :(

I thought it was a bolshy gweilo who obviously got out of bed the wrong side and getting the hump with everyone, a fight started between him and a local guy, then local guys mate joins in and then another gweilo joins in.
The gweilo was arrested and taken to Cheung Chau. (allegedly)

was the gweilo really arrested?
my friend still saw him (the gweilo who was bashing the local's face) at central ferry the following evening after the fight. this gweilo tried to provoke my friend even then. wonder what kind of bed this gweilo had? seemed like he fell out of bed everyday. :roll:
