Anyone in Lamma is bothered by the airplane noises over the night (from 11pm till the morning)? :blues:
Without the air conditioner on we can hear very loud airplane take off noises every 2-5 minutes..very difficult to fall asleep with the huge noise.

Saw some articles from the government and there are planes taking off regularly at night over West Lamma Channel to avoid flying over Tsing Yi, the Kowloon Peninsula and Hong Kong Island, due to numerous complains from the residents in Ma wan and elsewhere.

Anyone has noticed the overnight plane noises as we do??

Yes, here in Po Wah Yuen I noticed it for the first time during the past few days or so. I have been told they do so to clear backlog from typhoons, but that can't be the reason now I guess.
