Bought one in Broadway, Mongkok, a couple of weeks ago.
Samsung, 6L, $2100.
They delivered to the pier and we trolleyed it home ourselves. Cost $38 on the ferry.
Has a 2-year warranty and they said service call to Lamma would cost $200.
Checked out Fortress, a bit more expensive for the same models and they were vague about what the guarantee covered.

Hmn, I thought I'd responded to this. Must have done something wrong. Anyway, we bought a Fortress brand top loader, cold wash for $1510 (special offer) last week for a family member, with a two year guarantee. Easy to self fit. Delivered for free to Central Pier. We also have a Fortress front loader, hot wash. My experience with Fortress own brand has been good over the years. We once had one that broke during the guarantee period some years a go and they fixed it quickly per the guarantee.

Good luck with whatever you choose. Life without a washing machine can get very expensive!

Oh, I forgot to say, Fortress told us both machines were easy to self fit, so no need for installation and they were right.
