Hi guys,

I'm a designer relocating to HK in Dec for work and very keen on the idea of living on Lamma.
Just wanted to get some of your thoughts/advise on this...
My work will be in TST, so I'll have to either take 2 ferries or 1 ferry+MTR to TST every morning.
Does anyone have similar experience?
If so, which part of Lamma would be better? I know i definitely need someplace within 10mins walk to the pier.
Thanks very much!!

cheers,
Su

i think its very easy for lamma to access to TST, we offer take 2 ferry (if the place is close to Ocean Terminal), otherwise Central MTR is great option for TST /close to Jordan.

Star Ferry is much easier to TST than MTR. Shorter walk from our pier, less crowded and cheaper. Probably about the same time in total, depending on where in TST you're going.
Star Ferry TST is a bus depot, have a look if any take you closer to your office.

If your future office will be close to TST MTR or Star ferry pier, living on Lamma is not a problem at all.
(Morning MTR from Central to Kowloon side is rather empty, which is rather nice)

THANK YOU all for your thoughts!
I'm happy and relieved to hear that daily Lamma-TST commute is feasible!
Living amidst the hustle and bustle in tiny spaces just wasn't very appealing to me although I'm excited about working in the city.
Yes my office is actually right by the harbour, so will be perfect! Now for the flat hunt...
Looking forward to meeting the community! :thumb-up:
