I have nothing against using my kayak from Power Station beach by others. I gave up chaining the kayak long time ago. However, stealing the net bag from the watertight compartment or leaving the covers open is just an abuse of trust. Please be honest and return the bag!

I recently got an old, ugly HK$20 flashlight stolen from my bike at the pier in less than 12 hours. Those people are amazing. Should we start reporting these idiots to the police? Starting from the people who steal CitySuper carts, for example.

My appeal really worked. The kayak was stolen yesterday by some asshole and abandoned on YSW beach. Hope to find it still there when going back from work tonight.
I am not sure reporting to the police will help yet I am going to do that anyway.

I am pasting that here for the use of the other owners of the kayaks.

I was on the beach pretty much all weekend - quiet a few people kayaking out of PSB, but didn't notice any shady looking kayak thieves

The kayak was found on Hung Shing Yeh beach secured on rocks by the beach Staff. Big thanks to them. The parts were missing and the watertight compartment full of water.
I have to change the qualification of the act from theft to mindless vandalism. I do not change the qualification of whoever did it - asshole.

Probably alcohol related.
