It was really rather extraordinary. Sitting outside Fountain Head I saw the fire brigade heading for the ferry pier, sirens blaring, lights flashing etc. Two minutes later they all went rushing back, presumably to get to the correct location i.e. near the kaido pier. Then the fireboat docked at the ferry pier and three fireman in full protective gear got off, followed by paramedics on foot with a stretcher and they disappeared in the direction of Tai Peng. All rather odd and you wonder what sort of co-ordination was going on or was it dis-co-ordination. It seems that the ambulances and fire-crews have no idea where anywhere is on the island. Quite often I've shown them the mobile app
http://www1.map.gov.hk which shows the location of every known building in the whole of Hong Kong but they seem to be unaware of it's existence. Bunch of clowns!
Typo corrected - sorry!
