Many of you must have seen this week's HK Magazine already. We'll discuss the great cover story "What are they doing to Lamma" in the Campaigns-Environmental forum, of course.

You must also have seen the interview with Nick the Bookman!?

He's become so famous now in all of HK since yesterday, enjoying his 15 minutes of fame after this interview & photo in HK Magazine.
He's probably being asked for autographs right now (Sat afternoon) by the weekend hordes of tourists passing his bookstall... :lol:

Let's compare an old photo of Nick, contributed by K@, with the brand-new one, scanned from HK Magazine today:

It's really the same guy! We're trying to find out how many years ago this photo was taken.

Nick was one of the very first people I met when moving to Lamma last year, being recommended to us for moving. Really great guy.

Hey, for you guys'n'gals not living in HK anymore, here's the scanned interview.
My Lamma is non-profit, so I think that HK Magazine won't give me any copyright heat...

You should still be able to get a hold of the magazine as it's just been published on Friday, being available till this Thursday.

If you can't find it anymore, it might be because of me grabbing two copies! :twisted:
I'll let you have a look at my spare copy, for just one beer per 10 minutes of reading time. Sounds fair?

It would be great to get this article for My Lamma. HK Magazine doesn't seem to have their own website. Maybe we could get the permission to publish it online from them, or at least scan it?
