Does anyone else feel like the secret is out..our time has come and if u want to stay on Lamma u have to live like a squatter or pay big $$$$$ alot of ppl have left or planning to leave...the Lamma vibe is eroding slowly but surely...btw Erub would be my pick out of those 3....but Mer is my home. |

Well, maybe it is time for some people to move on - that's life - but where would you move to, assuming you'd like to stay in HK? Any place left that is like Lamma used to be??? Where to move to? HK is changing overall irreversibly, it's not just Lamma. I'm just working on stories comparing Lamma to other Outlying Islands, but I haven't found a nicer one to live on yet. A new Lammaite just moved here from Mui Wo, not the other way round, and will write about why they moved here, comparing us with maybe the most similar place to Lamma. |

Cheung Chau is much cheaper than Lamma to live and eat...but its much busier than lamma too (hmmmm) Peng Chau is close to hk.....but a boring place to live (grrrrr) btw can anyone tell me why Peng Chau has a 3a.m ferry? What about Pak Kok?..... |
