"Attached is the poster - photo is last year's winner (Anonymous Guy), also featured on the cover of the official programme.

We can do another photo competition - a case of TH wine again to the winner.

Derek Kyme is coming to the event, and paddling back where he started with the Lamma Dragons. His achievements below.

We have 46 teams this year, 10 women's teams which is more than ever. The Lamma Fishermen are entering too, which is new.

We are celebrating our 5th year. Laracy & Co. have been the title for 4 years. Other big sponsors are Thirsty Horse Premium Wines, HK Electric Company and The Henley Group. Make-A-Wish Foundation of Hong Kong is our charity still. Website address: http://www.lamma500.com.

We will be running the 1,000m race again with nearly all teams participating. Food and Drink available, beach party afterwards."<HR>

2004 - World Championships in China, GB Senior crew

2005- World Championships, Berlin, GB senior crew

2005 - Masters International - 1st place The Great River race, 26 miles, over 300 boats (course record 2hr 6min, 33 secs)

2006 - European Championships in Prague, Silver 2000m, Silver 500m, Silver 200m

2007 - European club crew championships, St Petersberg, Russia.

2008 - European Championships in Saubaudia, Italy - Silver 500m, Bronze 2000m

2009 - World championships, Prague, GB senior crew

There'll be a Photo of the Game competition with 1st place receiving:

1 case of Thirsty Horse wine and a chance to be on the cover of the Official Programme 2012.
2nd place 1/2 case TH mixed and a chance at the cover too -
3rd 1/2 case TH white and again, a chance at the cover.

"With the help of Lamma-zine we are running a photo contest for photos taken during the Lamma 500 International Dragonboat races on Sunday, May 15.

If you took photos during the Lamma 500 and would like to enter, please send 5 of your best shots to Lamma-Gung: LammaGung@gmail.com

The main prize is a chance to have your photo shown and credited on next years Lamma 500 Programme Cover and a case of Thirsty Horse Premium Wines.
