KOWLOON BAY A beautiful sunny day in May. At the village market love is in the air between Gerda and Kay. But, lo and behold, suddenly the nicest guy in the village turns HORRIBLE and then disappears!
And what is this? Can it be snowing in May?
Dame Gloria Stampworth and company suspect that only one person could be behind this - the dreaded Snow Queen! They're not wrong: her Icyness, with her troll accomplices, has BIG plans to remove fun and happiness from the world forever! The Snow Queen is struggling with a childhood curse, but why can’t she just . . . let it go?
Join Gerda and friends as she sets out to rescue her man and get the sun shining again in an evening of theatre guaranteed to set the heart racing.
A Hong Kong tradition for over 50 years, Hong Kong Players’ annual Christmas panto is an extravaganza of song, dance and jokes that will be loved by the young and the young at heart.
Change of Venue:-Hong Kong Players has staged an annual panto for 55 years, making it Hong Kong's longest running and most enjoyed theatre tradition. Major trials and tribulations — and lengthy renovations — left us struggling this year to find a venue on Hong Kong island. Were we going to skip a year? We were not! Traditions are worth the fight. So PLEASE support us in this fight. Come to Kowloon this year to cheer, boo, laugh and generally enjoy a perfect start to the festive season. Oh yes it is!
