"3rd of April we'll organize a free Beach Cinema.
Starting at 7:30. One cool family movie (rated PG) and a rated R for the adults after.

At 12 we'll have a double birthday!!! Eileen and Kirt. :)
Don't forget your blankets"

They have a website: http://www.thelammabookclub.com/
Don't see how this relates to being a "book club" though.

And it may be "free" but:

How much does it cost to attend?
Depends on the event – but you can give us a 100hkd donation and we will smile (and not punch you in the stomach)

Entrance is free - but you can give us a small donation if you think it's worth the effort that we made. We are a book club that just likes to organize a good party / event once in a while - nothing wrong with that right?

Did I say there was anything wrong?
I just naively thought a book club might be organising literary events.

Good luck with the screening in any case.

We are blessed with some great weather this weekend! It will not get colder than 20c. Yeah! So the cinema is definitely a go!
For the first movie, for kids and families, we want to show:
"Kung Fu Panda 3" (or "The Good Dinosaur") starting 7:30

For the second Rated R movie, we were thinking what would go best during a beer on the beach...
"Mad Max Fury Road" or "Deadpool" (or maybe an old time classic "A Clockwork Orange" starting around 9:00)

After the movies we have a double birthday party at 12 of Eilien Waegemaekers and Kirt Kishita. Whoop Whoop!

Open Space also organizes a Pre, (during wink emoticon ) and after party, so get yourself ready for a great sunday, and sleeping in on Monday.

Enjoy!
