Guys, you are completely missing the point I am trying to make here. By all means have beach parties, get drunk, take drugs, meet people and have fun. BUT TURN THE FUCKING MUSIC DOWN ON SUNDAYS.
For many people this is the one day of the week they have free to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Lamma.
Many families like to take their children and pets to the beach on Sunday and do not want to be deafened by awful music, and let's face it, the spectacle of a few drugged-up fools throwing themselves about at 2:00 on a Sunday afternoon is more than a little sad.

I too think that the beach is there for all to enjoy, something that cannot be done by the majority of the law-abiding peaceful beach-going public because of a few selfish people at one end.

By all means have your party, be it an illegal gathering (do you apply for a noice or performance licence? Do you get one?) or not , but when it's daytime, and the family people come out to play, turn it off and go home. You've had your turn at the beach, now it's someone else's turn.

Either that or it's mass complaints to the police. Not in YSW, but the main islands station, copied to police HQ. Then something WILL be done about it. Up to you.

Thanks Oscar, I thought I was alone on this one. Maybe a simple vote for party sundays or peaceful sundays would prove who is in the minority.
The sad thing is that these parties will definitely be shut down very soon by the police, and all because of a few selfish people. They know who they are and they have been given every opportunity to share the beach with others. It is their fault that the party is over!
