Since they say "9:45AM-6:00PM" I suppose they'll have it covered over with steel plates in the evening and on Sundays.
Should be interesting in the morning rush hour, especially if it's raining.
You used to be able to dodge that corner through an alley behind Best Kebab, but someone blocked that off years ago with a refrigerator and some other junk. (You can still go behind the vets, but that won't help much in this case.)
Meanwhile the local government plans to spend tens of millions on the absurd bike platform, and is trying to revive the YSW reclamation, all justified by "congestion". But the real bottleneck is right at this corner and there is absolutely nothing even proposed to improve it. They should spend a million or two to to buy back some frontage and widen the "road".
