I wonder what's being built on the pier? Saw them sliding poles under the walkway. Is it related to the canopy over the walkway that someone wanted built? (remember those funny photos of rain and sunshine on the posters complaining how awful nature is.) |

Probably just maintenance. Every few years they put up scaffolding and check and repair the bottom. There will be a notice stating exactly what it is. |
