The new working report by our long-serving District Councilor is finally out now. You can pick up your own copy outside Yu Lai Fan's office on Back Street, just after the Lamma Gourmet shop. Or view all 8 pages below.

Have a good look and see if you agree with her Lamma Dream and ideal and want to help her with actualizing it, or not?

Got different dreams, ideals and priorities? Register before July 2 as a voter in the next District Council election this Nov to help actualize your own dream. No opposition candidate has announced yet, so it might be one more easy win for Lammadonna?!

"Highly concerned about the health of or valuable trees" = cut down any tree that anyone finds inconvenient.
Nothing about preserving trees, let alone planting any. Complete double-speak.

"Spacious and safe road" = YSW reclamation.

"YSW Pier Improvement Project" ?
Too bad they couldn't have combined that with bike parking on a wider pier and saved $20 million. Instead, spend another $50 million probably.

Pak Kok Pier "demand reconstruction". It's been reconstructed at least three times since I've been here.
Maybe they should try designing it right instead of just pouring concrete randomly until they use up the budget?

"Beautiful Street signs"?? We don't need decorative street signs. We need informative street signs in all the villages. Nobody knows where addresses are. Ambulance and police don't know where addresses are. Most of us don't know the addresses of our neighbours' houses. But we're gong to get "Beautiful" signs. Probably telling us to study the Basic Law.

"Tin Kwong Hui shelter improvement". I think that's the monument that the fish sellers place their stall around, since there's no room where they used to set up with the Karnak-style pillars.
She got them to build a completely useless shelter, took credit for it. A year or so later, she wants to knock it down and take credit for "improving" it. There speaks a real politician.

Could have just used the same design all all the illegal roof covers and built it for $10,000.

All this stuff about how she mobilises work for slope stabilisation, street lights, drainage, etc, etc.... the government departments do that regardless. She just hears about it and turns up to get her photo taken.

Half of them promoting her concrete pouring projects, the other half routine maintenance the Drainage and other departments would do whether she had her photo taken there or not.

How many times does this bloody pier at Pak Kok have to be be rebuilt? At least three times I know of, and it really seems no different.
Just as much a balancing act in rough weather to get on or off.

"Illegal parked bicycles" - there are over 450 bikes that need to park by the pier every day. And her $25 million dollar slab of concrete only has room for 298.
It's physically impossible for everyone to park "legally" on her criminally badly planned, useless, inconvenient and absurdly over priced platform.
