Accidents are the serious cause of death in China mostly coal I've stopped calculating coal accidents because they were too numerous. the Majority of them Illegal mines. Just a bunch of country cousins, banding together digging coal out.
With the Chinese new year fast approaching, and the Trains sold out, coach transport has become a major industry in China. However, like the VV's here on Lamma, who make money zipping around the Island, in very unsafe ways (like RESIDENTIAL entrances in that Narrow ally, beside the Construction yard in Shapo. You have to zip around very very fast. Fuel is high, vehicle mantainance is a SOB, and unions and benifits are not aviabable as in the States. Where Truck Drivers, also have this rough life. Blue Collar lives are very very rough. I used to be a warehouse monkey, and a grounds keeper. You gota go go go go go, But sadly in China, saftey regulations don't exist. (I'm an NDT
inspector". I KNOW!) (For instance last year I reported about a Truck full of TNT. They wern't packed in boxed, they were just lay out in the TRUCK. 22 People at a toll gate were nuked.
Anyways, with the Chinese new years FAST approaching, with Busses, the only viable transport as the Trains (Don't get me started on those), are sold out, sadly, The chinese will likehood celebrate the Year of the Dragon, with.... Traffic accidents. It is very common in China to drive on the wrong side of the road to by pass some slower moving vehicles in a fit of road rage, and other such "stunts man driving".
