| Post subject: | Dog with a bleeding eye |
I see this dog outside Ah Poh's Dauh Fuh Fa "restaurant" almost everyday, He's wearing a flea collar and as told by "Ah Poh" this dog is one of those "outdoor dogs" owned by a westerner who lives in Tai Wan To or Long Tsai Tsuen area, I noticed today there's serious bloodshot under his left eye, some kind of infection or inflammation, obviously he's in need of urgent medical care... |

thank you so much for the concern. FeiJie is my dog. he has had medical care with hans on the island. we have had a pathology test as well as administrated antibiotics for his eye. unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done for it as it is a malignant growth. he will be going to the wan chai animal clinc tomorrow to have surgery on it with dr. paul. we have waitied until friday so that we will be able to be home with him on the weekend as he heals and adjusts. you must have seen him on one of his walk-abouts which he does regularly and has done for the past 11 years. he is the kindest, sweetest, most gentle dog i have ever had the pleasure of sharing part of my life with. should you see him again, gently stop and say hello, he loves a scratch behind his ears from anyone kind enough to get into his space. |
