URGENT:
Five older dogs living in Po Wah Yuen are going to be killed this week by the owner who is leaving Hong Kong and cannot take them with him. LAP's current foster homes are full.
Please consider giving at least one of these unfortunates a place to live, even for a short time while we look for a permanent home.

They are small/medium sized yellow/brown dogs, some of each sex.
There are 2 girls age 3, 1 boy, 1 girl age 9, and 1 girl age 11 (the mother/grandmother of the others).
They are all friendly, fun and well-behaved.

Details from LAMMA ANIMAL PROTECTION 2982 4018 - leave your number and we shall phone you back.

I really would love to help, but both my wife and I are travelling extensively. And then the dog would be left alone, and we will have difficulties to find someone to take care of him. I really hope someone can help them. My doubt is why the owner couldn't save them by moving them together. Isn't it quite cruel to keep five dogs and then just leave them to be executed when it's no longer convenience to keep the animals????

Unfortunately it is quite common for people to leave Lamma and leave their pets behind. Often they don't pay their rent or utilities bills either.

These 5 dogs are now living in an empty flat but the landlord will evict them in the next few days. There are promises of homes for one or maybe two of them but so far we have no idea where we can put the rest. Lamma Animal Protection has a network of foster homes but they are all full at the moment.

If you can help with either a temporary or permanent home, please leave a message at 2982 4018.

The Abadoned Five are now The Ulrik Four:

Four older dogs living in Po Wah Yuen were abandoned because the owner left Hong Kong and left the dogs in his rent-not-paid apartment. The landlord with the help of the police took the flat back and evicted the dogs.
Fortunately LAP was able to rescue them and they are now in a safe place. But it is only a rooftop. Please consider giving at least one of these unfortunates a place to live, even for a short time while we look for a permanent home.

They are small/medium sized dogs. There are 2 girls age 3, 1 girl age 9, and 1 girl age 11 (the mother/grandmother of the others).
