Just a reminder: Latest updates on dog poisonings are being discussed and collected in this new Facebook group, set up by Trey: http://www.facebook.com/groups/lamma.dog.owners/ Several people have already posted their news from this month about leads and suspicious sightings of meat besides the roads, plus police feedback. Please add your news to this spreadsheet: Suspected Lamma Dog Poisonings Trey wrote: "A simple idea: let's share info we hear about dog poisonings on Lamma, especially the "where" and "how" bits. To better manage the data, I've also created a public Google Docs spreadsheet. You'll notice there are actually two sheets. One is for reliable, first hand information and the other is for rumors. There's a column in the "rumors" sheet that tries to ascertain the veracity of what was heard. You can input the data yourself or I can do it if you ask. Let's try to add as many dog owners as we can and collect reliable information and try to verify rumors. If we do things right, we might be able to save a few dog owners a lot of grief. We've all had to rely on hearsay a bit too long." If you're not on Facebook, this forum will always be open to anybody for comments and news. |
