A few pics from about 5pm.
A few dozen bikes still on the railings but now there is a stretch of barriers and hoardings on the north side where they will be doing the works. |

| There are about 80 bikes there, nothing really nice but at least half still would do as "ferry bikes". Several have HKE plant registration plates. There is no reason to put them way up there except to avoid the bad publicity ... |

| There were about 20-30 "new" bikes at the bike graveyard near the reservoir this evening. They all had notices dated 3 Jan stapled to them so it seems we still get 2 days' notice. Nothing really nice, but maybe half were either rideable ... |
