Your tour on Friday, Aug 4, into the Lamma Power Station:
Please assemble at the main (east) gate of the Lamma Power Station at 10:15am, end of Power Station Road, just off Power Station beach (where our yearly Lamma Fun Day is held).
We need your signature on a form BEFORE the tour (for HK Electric insurance and security/disclaimer purposes).
10:15 sign-up, please!
Only registered/confirmed people will be permitted, no +1, please.
No sandals or flip-flops, please! A safety helmet will be provided and it's mandatory to wear one.
10:30am tour starts, 11:50am tour ends. No waiting for latecomers.
Itinerary: Facilities to be visited will include Visitor Centre, Gas Receiving Station, Turbine Hall of gas-fired generating unit and Solar Power System.
In addition, we will catch a glimpse of the construction site of new gas-fired generating units.
Advance questions can be submitted to me directly. I'll get them to the tour guide in advance, to answer during the tour, if time permits, as we have only 1 hour 20 minutes for the ENTIRE tour.

"Kindly note our requirements as follows:
1.Visit to Lamma Power Station will be conducted on weekdays, from Monday to Friday, only.
2.The group size should be between 15 and 35.
3.Lamma Power Station is an operational area; visitors should be aged between 15 and 70. At the Company’s discretion, visitors aged 71-75 who are mobile and in good health will also be considered. They should take into account their own safety and will be asked to sign a disclaimer on the visit day.

Please note we will meet at the East Gate of our power station at 10:30am.
The visit will last for about 1 hour 20 minutes and end at 11:50am.
Maximum group size is 35 and wearing of flip-flops and sandals is prohibited."

Inside Power Station tour: Tue, Aug 1, or Fri, Aug 4, 2017:
HK Electric just called me offering another one of our formerly yearly tours, again mainly for Lammaites, plus a few people with close Lamma connections, for ALL ages above 15, in English.
The widely publicised tour by Hans Andersen Club on July 20 above is in Cantonese (with some English interpretation, if needed) and it's targeted mainly at local teenagers, HK Electric and Hans Andersen Club just told me. This tour above is full now, waitlisted.
