Island Bar Quiz Night, July 31, 2003

Notes by Quiz Master Frazer McGilvray

     (Partner, LiveFish HK, www.livefishhk.com):

The July quiz saw a good turnout despite it being summer and quite a few of the regulars away on their holidays, so a big thanks to the 6 teams that turned up!

A slight change was implemented this month with two extra 'quick-fire' rounds, a 'who am I' and a 'what am I' being added, to the confusion and frustration of a couple of teams!

In the end, we saw Mel’s Whipping Boys come 6th with 40 points, In second place saw the imaginatively named The Walrus of Love Appreciation Society, on 47, and this month’s winners were Darren's Angels with 50 points!

Have a dry and cool August, and we'll see you on Sep 24.

Cheers, Frazer!

There is one point for the correct answer. Where an answer requires 2 or more parts, you must get all parts to get a complete point, There are no half points available.

In the ‘Who Am I’ and ‘What Am I’ rounds, you get 5 points if you answer correctly after the first clue, 4 after the second clue, etc. If you get it wrong, no matter what stage you guess your answer, you get no points. It is a ‘one shot deal’.
